Research Interests

My research looks at the influence of market pressure on the programming and operational decisions of traditional performing arts organizations. Through my research I hope to learn how the use of economic markers as a measure of value and success is changing the artistic fabric of Canadian society.

The principles of engineering design, engineering graphics and written communication learned within a hands-on project-based experience for engineering students.

Design and Communication II - Engg 253
A continuation of Engineering 251. Students will perform more advanced team-based projects that integrate mathematical, scientific and engineering knowledge and skills. Issues that play critical roles in engineering design will be introduced, such as project management, societal and environmental awareness, health and safety, design for safety, sustainable development, information access.

The Arts in Canada - CNST 433
An interdisciplinary study which focuses on the roles of the popular and fine arts (drama, music, literature and the visual arts) in Canadian life. Study of the contribution of artists, arts organizations and institutions to Canadian culture.
